I really enjoyed writing them, but then I realized that I needed to get up and do something, and that something was a job. What made you quit writing FAQs and how come you're back? Brett Franklin: Well, quitting FAQ writing wasn't really my plan. IGN FAQs: It's been a while since you've written a FAQ, but now your back with the new Zelda guide. We quiz Nemesis about where he's been, his favorite games, and whether he's ever used a line from a video game to pick up a lovely lady. Brett "Nemesis" Franklin quit the FAQ writing scene a while back, but now's he's returned with one of the best Zelda guides around. That's why every week we'll also sit down and talk to the Writer of the Week so you can get to know the person, and not just their moves. We also feel that it's important for gamers to get to know these writers, the very ones that have helped them out of so many jams in the past. Every week IGN will pick the person we see as the best FAQ writer going and reward them with two games off of his or her wish list. That's why we started the FAQ Writer of the Week. But here at IGN, we say enough with the gushy feelings and e-mail "thank you's" being all these tireless and sometimes tortured gaming souls receive.
